There are a large ridiculous number of these banquet halls and venues in Oakland and Berkeley, EastBay, and many of them are gorgeous. Unfortunately, the gorgeous ones tend to be a) expensive (well, at least relatively speaking to the not so gorgeous ones, and we have the list for both!) and b) the gorgeous ones get booked well in advance, so start calling today. Many of the sites also have catering restrictions, but that we mean no open gas or stove, but most of them are equipped will new prep and full catering kitchens, amazing. And at some, just some, you can’t serve hard alcohol, if that’s a factor, just bear, wine and champagne. Most of the caterers in the Bay Area and Northern California I have worked with include all of the stoves, grills, service ware, etc., however, on a wedding earlier this year, the Bay Area, San Jose caterer informed me my client would need to provide everything from the linens to china, to serving carts. But no worries, we at iDesign Events were able to provide all the needed items at no extra extra charge. Venue and banquet hall rental still came cheaper then going to a local large hotel and venue.
