Who was your first inspiration in this event industry?

• There wasn’t much inspiration at the beginning of my career, but through the years I loved the designs of Preston Bailey and creative catering from Good Gracious Events

 

What do you wish you have known before getting started?

• How much I would love the business, but also how much it would consume my life

 

Would you consider yourself as a mentor? How important are mentors when it comes to business industries?

• Yes. It’s very important that people give back to the industry that has supported them so well.

 

What changes do your for-see in the near future in this industry?

• I would hope that more vendors appreciate the work, the assistance and the support that wedding coordinators bring to the success of a wedding. And that more venues would require coordinators before booking events

 

What would you recommend to the newly aspired event planners across the nation?

• To be patient, to realize that no job is too small, take advantage of any job they can get along the way because each can be a learning experience that can help them in the future and in the success of their own company.
