Question #1: What comes with my rental fee or my food and beverage package?
If you are having your wedding reception at a hotel venue or restaurant, you will most likely have tables, chairs and simple short hotel/catering linens and napkins included in your wedding reception fees. However, if you decide to have your reception or wedding in a park, garden or a banquet hall facility you should make sure you what is provided, usually chairs and tables only. This means you will need to rent items such as linens and napkins etc. We at iDesign Events will help you get everything you need at the best cost possible with out having you go to 20 different venue.
Question #2: Does your venue caterer include equipment such as chafing dishes, china or do you have to rent it?
Most of the caterers in the Bay Area I have worked with include all of the stoves, grills, service ware, etc., however, on a wedding earlier this year, the Bay Area, San Jose caterer informed me my client would need to provide everything from the linens to china, to serving carts. That was a huge additional expense and a great deal of additional work that was unexpected.
